The signature solution supports the legally effective electronic signing of any type of file, both in the field of the provision of the Swiss Federal Department of Finance about electronic data and information for electronic invoicing (ElDI-V), the Swiss VAT Act (MWSTG) and the Swiss Accounting Regulation (GeBüV). Through the use of the electronic signature, the authenticity and integrity of a document is ensured vis-à-vis the recipient and the legislator (MWST).
For the legally compliant filing and archiving of electronic documents, the electronic signature is of great importance. The electronic signature ensures both the integrity of data (inability to be forged) and the authenticity (authorship) as well as the non-appealability of the document. The specifications of the Swiss Accounting Regulation are fulfilled without special storage systems having to be used.
QuoVadis supplies the necessary function certificates, gate2b carries out the rest.
The electronic signature prevents documents from being able to be manipulated or changed subsequently and in an undetected way. A subsequent change automatically makes the electronic signature invalid. The electronic signature is thus indispensable.
Various DMS (document management systems) and electronic archive systems are used with QuoVadis certificates on a daily basis. QuoVadis supplies all necessary ElDI-V compliant certificates for the respective signing process and assures the legally prescribed registration and delivery processes.
QuoVadis is an internationally accredited certification service provider (CSP certification service provider) and enjoys worldwide recognition (WebTrust). Electronic certificates are offered in accordance with Swiss legislation (ZertES - Federal Law concerning electronic signatures) and European legislation (ETSI - European Telecommunications Standards Institute).
